Trial and error, 03-04.10.2016

One of the lessons I learned in the training period for Baneasa Trail was to keep a diary of my training. I already started my training period for the next race, which I consider to be the half marathon I will do in November. I already registered for another one, in October, on 22nd. I might have the proof I am a masochist

I mentioned in several occasions that I am fasting every week for 36 hrs. Which means that I eat Sunday evening and next meal is Tuesday morning. Recently I received a lot of questions on why I do such thing. So recently I posted this article on my FB page, that mentions 10 advantages. My fasting

I am fasting. I tried several diets…or schedules of fasting till I found the one that works for me. I think fasting is  an interesting concept. If we look to all of the major religions existent in the world, the word fasting exists in all of them. We fast in Orthodoxy, catholics fast, muslims have Ramadan, jews fast and I guess all the religions, at least the main ones have in one form or the other fasting. I am back!

In the last 2 weeks, less than 2 weeks actually I have done more sports than in the last 6 months. Apparently coming back home was good. For a long period of time I was afraid to go out and run because one of the injuries that I was suspected of was Femoral Head Avascular Necrosis. Which would have been bad. That is why I was insisting to wait till I do a MR to my hip. But dealing with the medical system in Romania is not that easy and they managed to get me out of my nerves. A lot of first timers

For the first time in Romania, and for the first time this year, I am going to run tomorrow. For the first time ever I am starting on Thursday to have Aikido courses. I have this in mind for a long time but never got to actually do it due to movements around the world. Thursday I am testing a place in Bucharest and through the week I will go to a second gym that has Aikido courses. I am 1 month in my, for the first time, 36 h fasting diet.
